That’s a really tough choice, John and Arthur are both some of the greatest fictional characters ever created picking between them would be like picking a favorite child. That being said I think I like John more, he feels more like a silent badass like Boba fett or The ghoul, I’m not saying Arthur is a worse character I’m saying that the way rdr1 ended felt more final and more sad knowing all the things that happen in there though in Arthur’s defense he is an amazingly written character with a compelling and heartbreaking story that makes you wish things turned out differently for him, but John in rdr1 is just so melancholic and sad knowing what the government is forcing him to do. I felt so alone and isolated in rdr1 a feeling a didn’t get often in rdr2 Arthur and John are both flawed characters, I love the fact that John purposely left the American dream for an “American venom”
